Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the upcoming game product (hereinafter referred to as the "Product") developed and operated by StarPath Interactive Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" or "our"). We attach great importance to the protection of your personal information and privacy. This Privacy Policy is formulated to inform you of how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal information when you use our Product, as well as your rights and ways to exercise them. Please carefully read and understand this Privacy Policy before using the Product. If you do not agree with any content of this Policy, please do not use our Product.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Permissions Obtained

We will only obtain the necessary permissions for the normal operation of the Product, and will clearly inform you of the purpose of obtaining the permissions before obtaining them, and obtain your explicit consent. We classify the permissions into sensitive permissions and general permissions, and the collection situation is as follows:

1.1.1 Sensitive Permissions

  • Location Permission: How to collect: If you choose to enable the location permission, we will collect your precise location information through the GPS, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signals of your device. What to collect: Your precise geographic location (including latitude and longitude) and location change information. Who to collect from: Directly collected from your device with your explicit consent. Sharing with third parties: We will not share your location information with any third party unless we have obtained your explicit consent or it is required by law. Profit purpose by sale: We will never sell your location information for profit. Server for upload: The collected location information will be uploaded to our dedicated cloud server located in the United States, which is operated and managed by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Camera Permission: How to collect: If you choose to enable the camera permission for functions such as avatar customization or in-game photo sharing, we will collect the image data captured by your camera when you use the relevant functions. What to collect: The image content captured by the camera when you use the specific functions. Who to collect from: Directly collected from your device when you actively use the relevant functions with your consent. Sharing with third parties: We will not share the camera-captured information with third parties unless you explicitly authorize it. Profit purpose by sale: We will not sell the camera-captured information for profit. Server for upload: If you choose to save or share the captured images through the Product, the relevant image data will be uploaded to our dedicated cloud server in the United States (AWS).

  • Microphone Permission: How to collect: If you choose to enable the microphone permission for in-game voice chat or other voice interaction functions, we will collect the audio data captured by your microphone when you use the relevant functions. What to collect: The audio content captured by the microphone during the use of voice-related functions. Who to collect from: Directly collected from your device when you actively use the voice functions with your consent. Sharing with third parties: We will not share the microphone-captured audio information with third parties without your explicit consent. Profit purpose by sale: We will never sell the audio information for profit. Server for upload: During the voice chat process, the audio data will be temporarily transmitted through our dedicated cloud server in the United States (AWS) and will be processed in real-time without permanent storage unless you choose to save it.

  • Contact List Permission: How to collect: If you choose to enable the contact list permission for functions such as finding friends in the game, we will read your device's contact list information after obtaining your explicit consent. What to collect: The name, phone number and other relevant information of the contacts in your contact list. Who to collect from: Directly collected from your device with your explicit consent. Sharing with third parties: We will not share your contact list information with any third party. Profit purpose by sale: We will not sell your contact list information for profit. Server for upload: The collected contact list information will be encrypted and uploaded to our dedicated cloud server in the United States (AWS) for the sole purpose of friend-matching functions.

  • Payment Information Permission: How to collect: When you make in-game purchases, we will collect your payment-related information through the third-party payment platforms we cooperate with (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay). What to collect: The last four digits of the payment card number, payment amount, payment time and transaction record information. Who to collect from: Collected through authorized third-party payment platforms with your consent during the payment process. Sharing with third parties: We will only share the necessary payment information with the cooperative third-party payment platforms to complete the payment transaction, and will not share it with other third parties. Profit purpose by sale: We will not sell your payment information for profit. Server for upload: The payment transaction records (excluding complete card information) will be uploaded to our dedicated cloud server in the United States (AWS) for transaction verification and after-sales service.

1.1.2 General Permissions

  • Storage Permission: How to collect: After obtaining your consent, we will access your device's internal storage or external storage when you need to save game progress, download game resources or save in-game screenshots. What to collect: Game progress data, downloaded game resource files, screenshots saved by you and other non-personal information related to the game. Who to collect from: Directly collected from your device with your consent. Sharing with third parties: We will not share the storage information with third parties. Profit purpose by sale: Not applicable. Server for upload: Game progress data will be uploaded to our dedicated cloud server in the United States (AWS) for data synchronization.

  • Device Information Permission: How to collect: When you install and start the Product, we will automatically collect your device information without additional explicit consent (except for sensitive device information). What to collect: Device model, operating system version, device unique identifier (such as IMEI, Android ID), device manufacturer, network type and other information. Who to collect from: Directly collected from your device when you use the Product. Sharing with third parties: We may share de-identified device information with third-party analytics service providers to optimize the game and improve user experience. Profit purpose by sale: We will not sell the device information for profit. Server for upload: The collected device information will be uploaded to our dedicated cloud server in the United States (AWS).

  • Network Permission: How to collect: Automatically obtained when you use the Product to connect to the network. What to collect: Network connection status, data transmission status and other information. Who to collect from: Collected through network communication when you use the Product. Sharing with third parties: Not shared with third parties. Profit purpose by sale: Not applicable. Server for upload: Network status information will be temporarily recorded on our server during the connection process.

2. How We Protect Your Information

We take a series of technical and management measures to ensure the security of your personal information and prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure or loss of information:

  • Technical Security Measures: We use encryption technology (such as SSL encryption) to encrypt the transmission of sensitive information; adopt access control technology to strictly control the access rights of server data, and only authorize personnel with specific responsibilities can access it; regularly update and maintain the security system to prevent security vulnerabilities.

  • Management Security Measures: We establish a strict internal data management system, clarify the responsibilities and obligations of employees in handling personal information, and conduct regular privacy and security training for employees to enhance their awareness of information protection; sign confidentiality agreements with employees and third-party service providers who may come into contact with personal information, and impose strict restrictions on their information use rights.

  • Emergency Response Measures: In the event of a personal information security incident, we will immediately start the emergency response plan, investigate the cause of the incident, take measures to control the scope of the incident, and notify you and the relevant regulatory authorities in a timely manner in accordance with legal requirements.

3. Data Retention and Deletion Mechanism

3.1 Data Retention Period

We will retain your personal information for the minimum period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:

  • For game progress data, account information and other information necessary for the use of the Product, we will retain it during your use of the Product and for 2 years after you cancel your account (to handle possible after-sales issues).

  • For payment transaction records, we will retain them for 7 years in accordance with relevant financial and tax laws and regulations.

  • For location information, camera images, microphone audio and other sensitive information that you have authorized to collect, we will retain them only during the period when you use the corresponding functions, and delete them immediately after you disable the function or cancel the authorization, unless otherwise required by law.

3.2 Data Deletion Mechanism

You can request to delete your personal information at any time. The specific deletion methods are as follows:

  • Active Deletion by Users: You can enter the "Account Settings" page in the Product, find the "Data Management" option, and submit a request for deleting personal information. We will process your request within 15 working days and notify you of the processing result.

  • Automatic Deletion by Us: When the data retention period expires, we will automatically delete your corresponding personal information through a systematic process; if you cancel your account, we will delete all your personal information (except for the information that needs to be retained in accordance with legal requirements) within 30 working days after the cancellation is completed.

  • Deletion of Invalid Data: We will regularly clean up invalid data (such as data of accounts that have not been logged in for more than 3 years, duplicate data, etc.) to ensure the timeliness and validity of the data.

4. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information collected by us, and we will provide corresponding support to help you exercise these rights:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to access your personal information held by us, including account information, collected permission information, transaction records, etc. You can view it directly through the "Account Settings" page in the Product, or contact us to obtain a more detailed information list.

  • Right to Correct: If you find that your personal information held by us is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request correction. You can modify the basic account information directly through the Product, or submit a correction request to us by email, and we will verify and correct it within 10 working days.

  • Right to Delete: As stipulated in Section 3.2 of this Policy, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal information. We will process your deletion request in a timely manner in accordance with the procedures.

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection and use of your personal information at any time. You can disable the corresponding permissions in the device settings or the Product settings. After withdrawing consent, we will no longer collect and use the corresponding information, but this will not affect the legality of the information collection and use activities carried out based on your prior consent.

  • Right to Cancel Account: You have the right to cancel your Product account at any time. You can submit an account cancellation application through the "Account Settings" page in the Product. After the account is canceled, we will delete your personal information in accordance with the data deletion mechanism (except for information that must be retained by law).

  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe that our handling of your personal information violates relevant laws and regulations or this Privacy Policy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with us or the relevant regulatory authorities.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use Cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons) to improve your user experience and optimize the Product. Specifically:

  • Purpose of Using Cookies: Cookies can help us remember your account login status, preferences (such as game sound settings, screen resolution settings), and record your game behavior data to provide you with personalized game recommendations and optimize the game interface and functions.

  • Types of Cookies Used: We use session Cookies and persistent Cookies. Session Cookies will be deleted automatically when you close the Product; persistent Cookies will be retained on your device for a certain period of time (usually no more than 1 year) to record your long-term preferences.

  • Management of Cookies: You can manage or disable Cookies through your browser or device settings. However, if you disable Cookies, some functions of the Product (such as automatic login, personalized recommendations) may not be able to be used normally.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in accordance with changes in laws and regulations, product functions or business needs. When the content of the Policy is updated, we will notify you through the following methods:

  • When you start the Product, we will pop up a notification window to remind you of the updated content of the Policy, and ask you to read and confirm the new Policy before continuing to use the Product.

  • We will also publish the updated Privacy Policy on our official website (if any) and the "Privacy Policy" page in the Product for your review at any time.

The updated Privacy Policy will take effect from the date of notification. If you continue to use our Product after the Policy is updated, it means that you have read, understood and agreed to the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the updated content, please stop using the Product immediately.
